Ready Hands Announces Hiring of New Operations Director

Ready Hands Home Care, the preeminent provider of in home support services in Northern Virginia, is pleased to announce the new hire of Teri McDonald. Ms. McDonald will serve as Director of Operations at the company’s Alexandria office. In that capacity she will oversee all aspects of the business, including both its day-to-day operations as well as marketing and strategic planning functions.
Ms. McDonald comes to Ready Hands with a rich management background. Her previous employment experience includes serving as Director of Administration and Operations at the Ford’s Theatre Society in Washington, D.C. Her tenure at Ford’s began in 2008 while the theater was undergoing an 18-month renovation. Among her many accomplishments there was the training and development of staff in preparation for the theater’s Grand Reopening, the creation of new earned revenue streams and the management of three office moves.
Before working at the Ford’s Theatre Society Ms. McDonald served in the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations at the Washington Performing Arts Society, Director of Finance at the Points of Light Foundation and Controller at Dean and Company, a consulting firm based in Vienna, Virginia. Ms. McDonald earned her BS degree in Finance at George Mason University and her MBA at Strayer University.
