Olga Wymore, R.N. Joins Ready Hands as Nurse Supervisor
Ready Hands Home Care is pleased to announce the hiring of Olga Wymore, R.N. as our newest Nurse Supervisor. Olga comes to us with a rich and solid background in both community-based and hospital care.
Ms. Wymore started her career in health care as a nurse aide in California, where she worked performing in-home care services for clients with functional impairments due to age or chronic illness. In 2011 she completed training as a registered nurse through an associate degree program at Fayetteville Technical Community College, in Fayetteville, NC. Not content to stop there, Olga when on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, logging a 4.0 grade point average.
Olga has served continuously in the home care setting in various capacities since starting her career in health care. She has worked private duty cases and performed various types of assessments and case management functions. She has also had experience working in a dermatology practice and was a labor and delivery staff nurse at Inova Alexandria Hospital.
Olga came to us with references that unanimously cited her proficiency, professionalism, compassion and critical thinking skills. In her position at Ready Hands she has already confirmed these descriptions. She has shown a high commitment to learning and carrying out her duties the “Ready Hands way”; she in intelligent, a quick learner and holds herself to high standards.
As a Nurse Supervisor at Ready Hands, Olga will be responsible for assuring that all of her assigned clients receive the best assistance possible. She will perform initial assessment visits, participate in the selection of the best aides for each client and supervise the aides’ performance. She will remain in regular contact with the clients and their families to assure strong lines of communication.
